Bring out the red, white, and blue because the 4th of July is here! And while we love a weekend dedicated to BBQs, backyard games, fireworks, and spending time with family and friends, this year’s event could mean so much more to us! Under the current circumstances, this time last year was uncertain and outside the norm as we all had to make the decision to entertain or not!
Fun in the Sun
Micro-gatherings and intimately exclusive settings have become all the rage with the trends of 2020-2021. We have learned how to transform our homes and backyards into tastefully decorated and efficient atmospheres to adapt to the current changes still in effect. We have made use of our available space like never before, becoming pros and masters of making the most of small details. They’ll love your s’mores station with folding chairs and a fire pit when the sun sets and rows of cornhole boards ready for the tournament everyone looks forward to.
The men will gravitate towards your masterfully planned out grilling station, complete with your cooking essentials, cooler and chairs so they can hangout after a long work week. The ladies will be catching up on the porch, fawning over your menu, décor, and newly dug flowerbeds you’d been dreaming about all winter. Stories will be shared, laughter will be heard, and it will seem like the normal we were all accustomed to before 2020.

While the adults are hanging out on the porch or by the grill, the kids will be running around the yard, swimming in the pool, or sitting out in the sun to catch-up on much-needed Vitamin D. Rounds of freeze tag, hide-and-seek or cornhole will ensue and soon, everyone will be smiling and joining the melee because who can ever resist such fun!
Getting back into the groove of throwing these yearly get-togethers is something we all strive for. We love friendly interaction and conversation about nothing important because that’s what we all need. So on this 4th of July, make it the best one yet.
